Why the Great Recession was not the Great Depression

It talks about the current Great Recession, the Federal Reserve’s role and looks back to the monetary policies in the 1920’s that caused the Great Depression.  It is about 20 min., so wait until you have time as you will want to listen to the entire program.  (I use the iPhone app Stitcher to listen to many of the different NPR programs.)
